A new one hour painting today, done in acrylics. I'm trying to work more efficiently with how I produce these pieces.

Portraits
Getting back to my roots and doing a good amount of portraits since I've been home. I love portraiture, and I hope to get better at it eventually. As of now, I have two portraits that I am willing to put up now.

Painting
So this semester I have worked tremendously on learning how to use acrylics. I used to hate using acrylics because I didn't know how to mix colors very well (I convinced myself that I was color blind for a little while) and create interesting paintings, so this class was arguably the one class that I learned the most from. Here are some paintings that I feel show the most improvement in my adventure with acrylics.

Well...
Haven't thrown anything on here in a while, but there has been some progress recently. Here's a couple of pieces that I have done that I am not completely ashamed of

Tried to really get a full piece down while doing some digital stuff. This is what happens when I work on something for a couple of days.

back at ringling
So now that I'm back and working harder than ever, I've realized that there has been a slight change in how I'm trying to grasp figures in general. I've recently been more inclined towards pen and ink in comparison to graphite. These recent figures are mostly done in pen and feel different in comparison to my others. Still, I'm hoping that I will continue to improve.
So recently I've been getting into these blind contour drawings and they have been a lot of fun to try out. There will be a lot more of these in the future.
